Delete it in the app
- Open TradesLab and sign in.
- Tap the menu (☰) at the top left.
- Tap Delete my account, tick to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
If you own your company’s account, your account goes with the company. Delete the company instead: menu (☰), then Company, then under Your data, Delete company…. Export anything you need first.
Or ask us
Email hello@trades-lab.com from the email address you sign in with, and say you want your account deleted. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete it within 30 days.
Delete some of your data, and keep your account
You can delete what you’ve added in the app at any time, without closing your account:
- A note or photo on a pin: open the pin, then tap Remove on your note.
- A site note: tap Remove on it.
- A pin: open it, then tap Delete pin.
- A drawing: on the site’s page, tap Delete on the drawing.
- A whole site (admins): Edit site details, then Delete site.
Deleted sites and drawings stay in the company’s Bin for 14 days so a mistake can be put right, then they’re removed for good, with everything on them. A deleted pin or note disappears from the app and every export straight away, but stays in the drawing’s change history until the drawing or site is deleted. To have something erased completely sooner, email hello@trades-lab.com and tell us what you want deleted.
What’s deleted
- Your login, your name and email address, and your place in the team.
- If the company is deleted: all its sites, drawings, pins, cable runs, notes, photos, test records and certificates, straight away, and from our backups within 30 days.
What’s kept
- If you leave a company that carries on, the work you recorded stays with that company (it’s their job record), shown with your name as it was when you made it.
- Invoices and payment records, for as long as the law requires (usually six years). Card details are held by Stripe, never by us.
- Security and server logs, normally for no more than 90 days.
